Get to know me
“I've had a camera glued to my hand since I was 10. It was hot pink, plastered in hello kitty stickers, and I was in love. I got my first "real" DSLR camera at 14 and I've been taking photos ever since. Truly, nothing is more exciting to me than planning a shoot, meeting new people, and creating art that I'm proud of. Whether it's a fashion editorial with a team of creatives bringing a crazy idea to life, or exploring a new place with a couple that's in love, I'm living my dream.”
Get to know me
“I grew up moving back and forth from northern California and Utah (one of the most underrated states in my opinion). I've moved over 10 times in my life and am now based out of Utah, a.k.a. a photographer's heaven. I love the diversity this state has to offer, from snowy mountains, lakes, to sand dunes, and salt flats. There's so much to work with!”
Take some time to read through my approach and what to expect to see if we're the right fit for each other! I want to be sure the experience I give you is everything you could dream of and more.
Whatever your story may be, it deserves to be remembered for decades to come.
Whether this is your first time hiring a photographer or not, I think it's important that you know what you're getting in to to see if we're a good fit or not! Your time with your photographer will influence how you feel about your photos later on, which is why it's so important that you choose someone you think you'll mesh with! I want us both jumping for joy about working together, and you deserve nothing less!
My photography is heavily focused on candid moments, and capturing you for who you truly are. Rather than over-posed and stiff, I believe that the raw, authentic and IMPERFECT moments are the ones worth capturing. If that's what you're going for, then I'm your girl.
Every person's story is so different, so I make sure that the way I'm shooting and editing is reflective of who my clients are and how the moment actually felt! I don't want to limit a photos potential to fit any certain aesthetic, because it's more important to have a beautiful photo than to have a photo that matches my instagram feed. The artistic choices I make aren't to benefit me, they're to represent you.
You might not realize it now, but photography is really the only thing that lasts past any special occasion. Photographs are something that will only increase in value over time as you look back on them. Because meaningful, beautiful, authentic photographs that will last a lifetime are so, so important.
